ShadowGuessKids Support

ShadowGuessKids is a no-internet, no-ads guessing game for young children — they look at a silhouette and guess the object. If something is not working — the voice mode, the video playback, or a permission prompt — this page explains how to reach us and what to try first.

Does the app need an internet connection?

No. ShadowGuessKids has no networking features at all. Everything runs on the device, no account is needed, and no data is sent to any server.

"Video Voice" mode is not working

This mode uses the front camera, microphone, and speech recognition. Please open iOS Settings → ShadowGuessKids and grant Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition. If your device does not have the on-device speech model installed for the chosen language, this mode is unavailable.

How do I save the playback video?

After a 10-question round, the in-app player can replay the run. The temporary recording is only written to your Photo Library if you tap the explicit "Save" button. If you leave the playback page, the temporary file is automatically deleted.

No ads, no in-app purchases

ShadowGuessKids contains no ads, no pop-ups, and no in-app purchases. There is no ad tracking and no data upload — everything stays on the device.

Helpful details to include in a report

  • Your iOS version and device model, such as iPhone 15 / iOS 17.
  • The ShadowGuessKids version and build number.
  • The mode you were using — tap-to-answer or Video Voice — and the language selected.
  • Whether Camera, Microphone, and Speech Recognition are enabled in Settings → ShadowGuessKids.
  • Steps to reproduce, ideally with a screenshot or screen recording.
